“After living for several months in Australia, I found myself in Kyoto, Japan, inspired to create this drawing. Travel allows us to learn and understand. It is fascinating to create a connection between countries, by observing the flora and fauna. We can find similarities, but also contrasts. It is not just men who migrate. Picking, collecting, remembering… Assimilatio retraces a journey, merges memories and pays homage to ever abundant nature.”
